SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the men's tennis doubleheader scheduled for Saturday against the University of California, Santa Cruz and Sonoma State University has been postponed.
The Broncos will now open up their dual match season on January 20 when they host Sonoma State at 3:30 p.m. and Santa Clara's match against the Banana Slugs will now take place on February 13 at noon at the Degheri Tennis Center.
Last season, Santa Clara blanked both UC Santa Cruz and Sonoma State 4-0 in its dual match season opener. Over the past 10 years of play, the Broncos are a perfect 10-0 against the Banana Slugs and 7-1 against the Seawolves.
