Top Men's Tennis Classes - 2016 Tennis Recruiting Winter Rankings

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – For the second consecutive year, the Santa Clara men's tennis program has notched a spot in the top 25 national recruiting class rankings. This season, Santa Clara comes in at No. 20, the highest position for any West Coast Conference competitor.

"We are honored that Tennis Recruiting has recognized our efforts to rebuild our team," said Head Coach Derek Mills. "I started the process to get back to contending for the WCC Championship and NCAA Tournament two years ago and I feel like we are on pace to achieving those goals in the near future."

Santa Clara's all-international recruiting class represents the second wave of recruiting that piggybacks off of last season's recruiting class, a group of five recruits that was ranked No. 11 in the national winter rankings and eventual No. 1 for mid-major programs.

"We will continue to push to find players that share these lofty goals and are highly motivated to get better," said Mills. "I really believe that the future is very bright for Santa Clara men's tennis."
