SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's rowing had two players named to the Preseason All-WCC Team. The lone seniors on the Bronco roster, Katie Bond and Molly Walker, were the two to earn recognition from the league's coaches.
Walker was named to the 2015 All-WCC Women's Rowing team a year ago as well as being named to 2015 Preseason All-WCC.
This is the first WCC honor for Bond.
Santa Clara opened the spring season with a strong showing at the Davis Invitational. The Broncos won two races and finished second in three other.
They return to the water April 2-3 at the San Diego Crew Classic.
