Softball Lands Five on All-Academic Lists

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Two Santa Clara softball student-athletes were named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic team and three more were honorable mention.

Sarah Ellersick and Emily Eudy were the Broncos picked for the academic team with Lauren Anderson, Emma Bickford, and Liyah Lopez taking home honorable mention.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.

Ellersick is a Counseling Psychology major that has a perfect 4.0 GPA. She was name honorable mention a year ago.

Eudy graduated earlier this week with a degree in Psychology. She posted a 3.91 GPA during her collegiate career. Last season she was an honorable mention pick.

Anderson majors in Political Science and has a GPA of 3.46. She was also honorable mention that year.

Bickford is a Psychology major with a 3.33 GPA.

Lopez is working towards her MBA and has a 3.27 GPA.
