Santa Clara Volleyball Tops Louisville at UNC Tournament

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

The 21st-ranked Santa Clara volleyball team swept Louisville in non-conference action this afternoon at the North Carolina Tournament.

The 15-11, 15-4, 10-15, 15-13 win improves the Broncos' record to 8-1 on the season.

Senior Ynez Carrasco posted 20 kills in the win, while teammate Amy Kohl recorded 16. Defensively for the Broncos, Kohl and freshman Becky Potter notched six blocks each while four players reached double digits in digs.

Santa Clara continues play in the North Carolina Tournament and will face another opponent this evening, host North Carolina at 7 p.m. EDT.
