AS A JUNIOR (2010-2011): (XC) Placed 26th in WCC Championships in 22:33 10/30/10....Earned a season record in the 6k with a time of 21:51 @ NCAA West Regionals West 11/13/10. (TRACK) Did not compete.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-2010): (XC) Ran in the San Francisco Invitational with a time of 19:25 finishing in 18th place and 1st for the team … ran a time of 18:13 in the Hornet Jamboree finishing 11th and 2nd for the team … was the lone runner to compete in the Doc Adams Open where she ran a time of 22:13 crossing the finish line in 4th place … During the WCC Championships, McCarthy ran a time of 23:08 finishing as the 4th runner for the team and 34th overall … competed in the West Regional Championships with a time of 23:44 finishing in 140th place and 4th for the team. (TRACK) Ran her first ever 5000m track race in 17:56 despite tough rain and wind conditions @ the Benny Brown Invitational, Cal State Fullerton 3/6/10…Placed 2nd in her heat of the 1500m and set a PR time of 4:43:60 @ Johnny Mathis Invitational 4/3/10…Earned 3rd place and a PR in the 1500m in 4:42:93 @ Woody Wilson, UC Davis 4/17/10…Earned a new PR and school record in the 1500m with a time of 4:37:79@ Brutus Hamilton Invitational, Cal 4/23/10…Broke her second school record this time in the 800m running 2:14:86 @ Sac State, 5/8/10.

AS A FRESHMAN (2008-2009): (XC) Placed 20th in the open division of the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 18 with a 5k time of 19:45 ... Placed 25th in the Shoreline Open on Oct. 25 with a time of 19:30. (TRACK) Did not compete.
