  • Led the team to second place with an 8k personal-best 23:58.6 at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational (Oct. 13) and took fourth individually for the highest finish by a Bronco since Robbie Reid won the race in 2009

  • Competed at 1500m (3x), 3000m, 5000m (2x) and in the 3000m steeplechase (4x)
  • Qualified for the NCAA West Regional Meet in the 3000m steeplechase on a program-record 8:47.39 at the Stanford Invitational (March 29) (ranked 15th West/22nd NCAA)
  • Joined Jack Davidson as the first pair of men’s teammates in program history to qualify for the postseason in the same year
  • Clocked an 8:50.87 at regionals in the 3000m steeplechase (May 24), coming within eight seconds of a berth in the national championship meet (6th place heat/20th overall)
  • 5000m heat win on a personal-best 14:24.21 at the UW Invitational (Jan 25)
  • First-place finish and 3000m personal-best 8:34.04 at the West Coast Invitational (Feb. 23)
  • First place among collegiate runners with a 3000m steeplechase 8:53.67 at the Oxy Distance Spring Break Classic (March 9)
  • First-place finish and a 1500m personal-best 3:50.15 at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19)

FRESHMAN (2017-18)
XC:
Competed in all six cross country meets … posted a season-best 10k 31:22 at the Chile Pepper Festival where he finished third among his teammates and helped the Broncos to finish second out of 12 Division I programs … this showing made him the ninth-fastest 10k runner in program history … finished fifth overall and third among his teammates at the Dual Meet against Saint Mary’s with a 6k time of 18:26.22 … ran a season-best 8k 24:59.0 at the WCC Championships, finishing third among his teammates.
TRACK: Competed in six track and field meets, running at 1,500m, 5,000m, and 3,000m steeplechase … ran the 1,500m once, finishing third and posting a 3:58.08 at the Bulldog Invitational … posted a season-best 5,000m 14:42.42 at the Washington Invitational (indoor) … this showing made him the seventh fasted 5,000m runner in program history … competed in the 3,000m steeplechase three times, posting a season-best 9:01.46 at the Mt. SAC Relays and placing third overall … this performance made him the second-fastest 3,000m steeplechase runner in Santa Clara history, only behind Joey Berriatua who ran 8:52.04 during this season.
