Alan Guillou is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Santa Clara men's basketball program. He joined the Broncos earlier in 2022 summer after serving as international scout in Europe, primarily based in France.
Guillou also worked as a volunteer video coordinator for JDA Djion French Division U21 Team for the 2021-22 season. The team finished third in the league that season.
Guillou graduated in 2018 from Paris-Sorbonne University with a bachelor's in history and then went on to receive his Master's in political science in 2020.
While working towards both degrees, Guillou worked for roughly six years as a contributor for two French basketball websites - Dunkhebdo and Envergure - as a feature writer and also served as a podcast host.
Guillou is currently working towards a Master's in educational leadership at Santa Clara with an estimated graduation date of 2024. He plans on continuing to work in either collegiate or professional basketball upon graduation.
A native of Paris, Guillou enjoys spending time with his friends and family, working out and listening to music.
