HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Attended Durango (Colo.) HS... played both midfield and forward for head coaches Amir Burton and Tim Fitzpatrick... helped lead his prep squads to Southwestern League titles and berths in the Colorado state championships all four years... both the league titles and the trips to the state championships were the first in school history... named to the all-state second team as a senior after earning honorable mention accolades as a junior... garnered first-team All-Southwest League honors his final two years... at 14 years old, he became the youngest player ever for the KFC Fury under-19 club team... that squad captured back-to-back championships at the Tempe (Ariz.)
