AS A SENIOR IN 2001: Has started in 17 of the 18 matches he has played in this season... assisted on the game-winning goal in the Broncos 2-1 victory over then No. 8 San Diego... scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Sacramento State... has taken 21 shots on the year, nine of which have been on the mouth of the goal.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2000: Started in all 17 matches... finished third on the team in goals (3) and points (6)... fired 21 shots on goal... scored one game-winning goal on the season... scored first goal of season in the 2-0 win at Portland on October 15th... scored two goals, including the eventual game-winner, during the 6-1 victory over the College of Notre Dame... averaged 1.2 shots per contest from his defensive position... finished year having started 60 of the 62 matches in which he has played during his collegiate career.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999: Appeared in all 23 matches, making 21 starts... scored three goals and added three assists... all three goals were game-winners, including strikes against College of Notre Dame, San Diego State and Clemson... named the Defensive MVP of the Clemson Invitational after scoring the game-winning goal with just 12 seconds remaining in a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Clemson... also earned Soccer America Team of the Week and WCC Player of the Week honors following performance at the Clemson Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998: Earned honorable mention All-WCC honors after making the squad as a walk-on... one of only three Broncos to have started all 22 matches... tallied two goals and an assist for a total of five points... both of his scores were game-winners... his first career goal was a header at the 107:33 mark of a 1-0, double-overtime victory over cross-town rival and then-No. 9 San Jose State on Oct. 13... his strike from 45-yards out proved to be the game-winner during Santa Clara's 2-0 defeat of visiting Loyola Marymount on Nov. 15.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Product of Niwot (Colo.) High School... played for head coach and father Cotton Burden... established Colorado State scoring record with 38 goals as a senior... finished his high school career with 78 goals and 28 assists...led his team to the conference championship and the 1997 State Finals... earned All-Rocky Mountain Region and All-Colorado honors... played his club soccer with St. Vrain Express... helped team to a first place finish at the Phoenix Invitational... graduated with a 3.5 grade point average... son of Cotton and Joy Burden... born May 26, 1980 in Boulder, Colo.
