WHY I CHOSE SANTA CLARA: I chose Santa Clara for many reasons. First, the men’s soccer team is continuously successful year after year. My club soccer coach is very good friends with Coach Yamamoto, and always speaks very highly of him and the rest of the coaching squad. I look forward to joining the team and hopefully winning the WCC. I also wanted to attend a challenging Jesuit college known for its academics like Santa Clara. I will probably enroll in SCU’s college of business, which is one of the top programs in the country. Lastly, I have many aunts and cousins who live about an hour away from Santa Clara. I love the area of the campus and my cousins highly recommend the school and will hopefully be able to watch me play for the Broncos soon.
