SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's basketball team is hosting the Ninth Annual Stop, Pop, & Drop 3-on-3 Tournament this spring. The event will take place Sunday, May 19, at 10 a.m.
The tournament, held in the Leavey Center on the SCU campus, includes three divisions: Men's Competitive, Men's Recreational and Women's Open. The cost of the tournament is $40.00 per team if paid before May 13, or $50.00 at the door. Each player will receive a t-shirt and each team is guaranteed four games.
"We hope this event continues to give our friends of the program and fans of basketball in general an opportunity to spend some time together in a competitive and fun environment," head coach Chris Denker said. "The games will be overseen by our current team members and there are some good prizes involved. The coaches have a fun time too. It's a great way to spend the afternoon."
