Tahlia Garza joined the Santa Clara University women's basketball staff in September of 2022 as a graduate assistant for her first season with the Broncos in 2022-23.

Garza's duties with the Broncos will include managing video for the team and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the program.

Garza played her collegiate basketball at UC Irvine. She was a four-year letterwinner with the Anteaters, missing only two games in her career while making 116 appearances. She was a three-time Big West Conference All-Academic honoree, graduating with her bachelor's in sociology in 2021.

Joining the Broncos' staff is a homecoming for Garza, who hails from Morgan Hill and prepped at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose. There, she helped the Monarchs win three consecutive NorCal, Central Coast Section and West Catholic Athletic League championships. Her teams won the 2015 CIF Division II state title and reached the 2017 CIF Open Division state final while achieving a No. 1 national ranking during the season and finishing at No. 2 (MaxPreps). Garza was a two-time first team all-WCAL selection and twice landed on the Mercury News all-Bay Area teams (third team, honorable mention).

Garza is pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at Santa Clara University.
