2012 Season Recap: Played in 127 sets and earned 231 kills with 1.82 kills per set, hit .298, had 22 digs and 109 blocks with 0.86 blocks per set

AS A JUNIOR IN 2012: Had 13 kills, hitting .360 against SIUE (Aug. 25) … had nine kills, hitting .400 against Western Illinois (Aug. 26) … had two block solos and four block assists vs. Utah (Aug. 31) ... had 12 kills and one assist, hitting .476 against Loyola of Chicago (Sep. 8) … had one block solo and six block assists vs. San Diego State (Sept. 14) ... had 10 kills and one assist, hitting .444 against Brown (Sep. 15) … had nine kills, hitting .429 against Gonzaga (Sep. 20) … collected eight kills, one dig and seven block assists, hitting .412 against Pepperdine (Oct. 13) … had nine kills, hitting .467 with 8 total blocks vs. BYU (Oct. 20) ... had seven kills, hitting .636 against Saint Mary’s (Oct. 25) … Earned nine kills with 18 total attempts and 8 total blocks at San Diego (Oct. 27) … had twelve total attempts and three total digs against USF (Nov. 1) … had ten kills and hit .421 with six total blocks against Portland (Nov. 3) … had eleven kills, 23 total attempts and hit .348 against USF (Nov. 8) … had 17 total attempts and hit .412 against BYU (Nov. 10) … had six kills, thirteen total attempts, hit .385 and four total blocks against LMU (Nov. 15) … had five kills, ten total attempts and two total blocks at Saint Mary’s (Nov. 17) ... had one kill, one dig, and two blocks against Hawaii (Nov. 30)

SOPHOMORE YEAR IN 2011: (at University of Texas): Appeared in 22 matches, starting six … on the season tallied 21 kills on 52 attacks, hitting at a clip of .308 … Texas team was Big 12 Conference Champions and advanced to the Elite Eight before being knocked out by eventual NCAA Champion UCLA … was honored with 2012 Academic Provost Award … named to Academic All-Big 12 Volleyball First-Team.

FRESHMAN YEAR IN 2010 (at University of Texas): Saw action in seven matches … racked up seven kills on 10 attempts … team advanced to play in the Final Four and lost to eventual NCAA Champion Penn State … honored with the 2011 Academic Provost Award. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letter-winner at La Jolla High School where she served as team captain her senior season … coach was Dave Jones … 2009 AVCA High School All-American Second-Team member … California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) First-Team selection in both 2007 and ‘09 … second-team member of the 2009 San Diego All-Section team … received the 2009 AVCA Team Academic Award … led her team to the CIF Finals her sophomore and junior season … ranked as one of the top 100 seniors by PrepVolleyball … also competed on diving team … member of FCA and Athletics in Action. 

CLUB EXPERIENCE: Played for Coast Volleyball Club … a member on the 2008 USA Volleyball Youth National A2 Red Team … was honored on the 2008 Junior Olympics All-Tournament Team.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Paul and Anna Marie Cameron … father graduated from Arizona State University and mother graduated from University of Arizona… Dad played professional Frisbee, freestyle … has an older sister Ali (23) … a Liberal Studies major aspiring to be an elementary school teacher … she enjoys the beach, arts and crafts and working with kids.
