SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University Men's Head Coach Cameron Rast announced today that Santa Clara will once again conduct the Santa Clara University Soccer Academy summer camps for boys in the summer of 2003.
"The coaching staff and myself really look forward to the camps each summer," said Rast. "Each year our camps are the best avenue for our program to reach out and give something back to the youth of the sport."
The DAY CAMP will be held at the Wilson Adult Education Center in Santa Clara on June 16-20. The age range for the day camp is ages 6-16.
The RESIDENTIAL CAMPS will all be held on the Mission Campus of Santa Clara University. Camp 1 is scheduled for July 21-25 and is being held for boys ages 9-13. Camp 2 will be held on July 28-August 1 for campers ages 14-18. The final residential camp will be held on August 5-8 and is being titled the Elite Residential Camp, as it is intended for athletes who will be high school juniors and seniors in 2003.
