SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Junior goalie Michael Wishart was named the WWPA Player of the Week today, Wednesday, Oct. 27, after a strong performance last weekend at the Broncos' own Rodeo Tournament.  Wishart posted big numbers as Santa Clara went on to win all four games in the tournament.

Wishart played in all four games and recorded 49 saves, six assists, and two steals.  His weekend included a 16-save game in the 9-8 win over No. 15 Cal Baptist.  He added 14 saves, three assists, and a steal in a win over No. 20 (t) Bucknell.  He added an eight-save performance in the win over Brown, and an 11-save effort against WWPA foe Air Force.

Wishart is saving 56% of the shots fired on net against him thus far this season.  He has 234 blocks 17 steals and 20 assists.
