Women's Golf Opens Season at Fall Classic

This Week Santa Clara women's golf opens begins play today at the Bronco Fall Classic in Boise, Idaho. The two-day tournament covers 36 holes at the BanBury Golf Course.

At the Bronco Fall Classic The Bronco Fall Classic will feature 13 other teams: host Boise State Brigham Young, British Columbia, CS San Marcos, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Portland State, Western Washington and Weber State.

In the Rankings Santa Clara is not ranked in the second edition of the MasterCard/Collegiate Golf Foundation's rankings, released Oct. 4.

Head Coach Polly Schulze Polly Schulze is entering her first season as head coach of the women's Bronco program. Before arriving at Santa Clara, Schulze spent two years as a girls' high school coach in Aptos, Calif. She has also held positions as a PGA assistant professional, tournament director and junior golf coordinator at Pasatiempo Golf Course in Santa Cruz. She has been a member of the PGA since 1998.
