SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Season and single-game tickets are on sale now for the 2017-18 Santa Clara men's and women's basketball seasons. The men's schedule features 18 games in Leavey Center while the women will play 17. The regular season opens Nov. 10 for the men and the following day for the women.

Junior guard KJ Feagin, a preseason All-West Coast Conference selection, headlines three returning starters for the men's team. He finished second in both scoring (14.6 ppg) and assists (4.4 pg) last season, and shot a team-high 49.0 percent from behind the 3-point line, as well as a team-best 87.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Junior guard Matt Hauser and senior center Emmanuel Ndumanya, who both started a season ago, return along with Jarvis Pugh, Kai Healy, and Henrik Jadersten who all played key minutes in 2016-17 when the Broncos tied for fourth in the WCC standings and advanced to the league tournament semifinals for the first time in six years.

The men open the regular season on Friday, Nov. 10, against La Verne and host Nevada (Nov. 15) and Cal Poly (Nov. 18) as well as Valparaiso (Dec. 18) and local rival San Jose State (Dec. 21) during nonconference action. The nine-game WCC home schedule begins Dec. 28, against Pepperdine.

The main goal of Santa Clara Athletics is to provide the best possible experience for our student-athletes while delivering a tremendous gameday atmosphere in Leavey Center. One way to reach that objective is through seat-related donations though men's basketball season tickets. These tax-deductible donations will enhance our Bronco Athletic Fund, specifically the Athletics Excellence Fund, affording us the opportunity to match our expectations of competing for West Coast Conference and national championships.

With specific emphasis on men's basketball, donations to the Bronco Athletic Fund will be used to further improve facilities, increase operating budgets and boost recruiting, which is the lifeblood of our program.

There will be a number of benefits offered with seat-related donations, including priority access for postseason tickets, in-game hospitality, parking, access to the Athletics Director suite and complimentary women's basketball season tickets.

While season tickets offer the lowest per-game price, there are also mini-pack options of five, seven, and nine contests.

The Santa Clara women bring back three starters from last year's squad in Emily Wolph, Morgan McGwire, and Taylor Berry as well as key reserves Kyla Martin and Naomi Jimenez.

Wolph led the WCC in 3-pointers made last season and the Broncos with 12.8 ppg. Senior forward Morgan McGwire also returns after leading the team with 7.7 rebounds per game a year ago while adding 10.3 ppg.

The Broncos begin the regular season Saturday, Nov. 11, against Cal State Fullerton. Pac-12 foes USC (Nov. 17) and Cal (Dec. 2) also make visits to Leavey. Home conference play begins Saturday, Dec. 30 against Gonzaga.

Fans can get their first look at the teams when the men host St. Vincent in an exhibition Friday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. while the women play exhibitions in Leavey against UC Santa Cruz Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 6, against San Francisco State at 7 p.m.
