Donate to Santa Clara Athletics
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara Athletics is pushing toward the finish line of its Stampede Ahead Campaign for the Bronco Athletic Fund.
The end of the 2017-18 academic year is fast approaching, but there is still time to donate to assist our programs.
Last July, we unveiled a new fundraising model with the creation of the Bronco Athletic Fund, which consolidated our efforts. We developed the fund so our 20 NCAA Division I sports receive the necessary resources to operate at the highest level, while allowing our coaches to spend more time recruiting and developing their student-athletes.

During 2016-17, we had 1,083 individuals donate $100 or more. So far in 2017-18, that total has increased 34 percent to 1,450. We are extremely thankful for the additional donors, but our work is not done to reach our goal of 2,500 as we continue to enhance the student-athlete experience.
One key reason our student-athletes are successful in and out of the classroom is the support of our passionate donor base.
For the 29th straight year, one of our fall sports earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament with women's soccer reaching the Sweet 16. Not only that, women's golf also captured two tournament titles and men's cross country posted its best NCAA Regional finish in seven seasons.
This spring, our men's golf team re-emerged on the national scene to make its first trip to the NCAAs in 12 years after winning three regular-season tournaments. There were also many individual accomplishments with Joey Berriatua becoming only the third men's track and field athlete to reach the NCAA Regional and baseball's Jake Brodt earning national acclaim for his one-inning, two-grand slam performance.
Our student-athletes continue to excel in the classroom with 300 achieving a 3.0 or higher GPA and all teams collectively compiling a 3.21 GPA during the winter quarter. This month, we'll close out another year as we say goodbye to a senior class of 74 talented student-athletes.

In order to continue to improve on and off the field, we ask for your assistance in making a gift to our programs during the Stampede Ahead Campaign, which concludes June 30. Donations can be made directly to a sport, as well as the Athletics Excellence Fund or Bronco Bench Foundation.
