Carlaine Myers is in third year at Santa Clara. She worked with the men's soccer team as their athletic trainer 2019-2021, and then was promoted to director of sports medicine in winter of 2022 and is now working with women's soccer.

She received a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from South Alabama in 2014. During her time there, she played for the women’s soccer team from 2011-2013. Once her soccer career closed, she earned a spot in the Sports Medicine Student Internship Program where she worked closely with the sports medicine staff to provide medical care for the South Alabama Football team.

After graduation, Myers moved to Fayetteville, Ark. and attended the University of Arkansas where she received a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training in 2017. As a graduate student at the University of Arkansas, she completed clinical rotations with Razorback football and women's soccer. During the summer, Myers did an additional internship working with Razorback football and spent free time shadowing at the Shoulder Center of Arkansas. Myers was the secretary and active member of the Razorback Athletic Trainers Association from 2016-2017.

Upon completion of her masters, Myers adventured across the country to California where she completed a two year Athletic Training Fellowship at the University of California, Davis. During her time there she was responsible for the medical care and injury prevention of the women's field hockey and water polo teams. Additionally, she was responsible for the design and maintenance of the UC Davis Fellowship Webpage and took an active role in the student internship program.

Born and raised in Yorktown, Va., Myers lives in San Jose, and loves traveling, hiking, weight lifting, and longboarding. She enjoys the outdoors and is always accompanied by her four-legged best friend, Leo.
