Broncos Claim Bronze in Lightweight 4 at WIRA's

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. - The highlight of Day Two for Santa Clara University's women's rowing team at the 2010 WIRA Championships was a bronze medal finish in the Lightweight 4 event.

"It was a really strong performance and an indicator of more great things to come for this team," said SCU head coach Anne Kennedy. "This is a talented and dedicated group of athletes who have shown that they are here to compete. Santa Clara Women's crew is on a mission, and today was a great celebration of the work and commitment that the team has brought forth all year long. I am already looking forward to next season."

The weekend races - the 2010 West Coast Conference Championships and the 2010 WIRA's - conclude the Broncos spring racing schedule.
