SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's rowing heads to the San Diego Crew Classic Saturday and Sunday.
"This is a significant weekend in our progression for the season," Santa Clara head coach Jay Farwell said. "We will be racing a few crews that we have already raced as well as a number of crews from around the country. The Cal Cup (Varsity 8) race has 23 entries and we expect it to be very competitive. We will have our hands full against this group and we are looking to bring home this program's first Cal Cup in program history."
The Broncos have had a good start to the season in a pair of competitions and will be making their second trip to San Diego in as many weeks.
