AS A FRESHMAN IN 2000-01: Went 19-13 in singles, tied for the fifth best mark for a single season in Santa Clara recordbooks... played mostly in the second and third spots... avenged a fall season loss to Sacramento State's Joe Gilbert with a three-set 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory... trailing 3-0 and 4-1 in the final set, rallied passed Gilbert and clinched the overall match for the Broncos... won first five matches of doubles career paired with Rick Ruso.
