Brian Eagle enters his third season in 2007-08. His primary responsibilities concentrate on player development, with a strong focus on doubles, as well as continuing his role as co-director of the Bronco tennis camp program. His doubles coaching was key to the Broncos doubles success in 2006-07.
Eagle spent his junior and senior collegiate seasons at the University of California, where he played at the top of the line up in both singles and doubles. Competing in the preeminent Pac-10 Conference, he achieved high national rankings of 34th in singles and 19th in doubles. He was also a finalist in the Rolex Regionals in both singles and doubles. A 1993 Pac-10 All-Academic honoree, Eagle graduated from Berkeley with a degree in Political Economics of Industrialized Societies in 1994.
Eagle played professionally on the ATP Tour for more than three years. In that time, he won seven professional doubles titles in the USA, Canada and Mexico. He also traveled in Asia, and spent considerable time in Europe, where he had the honor of playing professional club tennis in Germany.
Eagle is also a co-founder of the Eagle/Fustar Tennis Development Academy, a junior program that specializes in the development of players ranging from ages 8-18. It is a highly-structured, goal-oriented and focused program that includes many ranked players, both in Northern California and nationally.
