Head Coach Michelle Bento-Jackson
On the game:
"Obviously when you play a team of Stanford's caliber, you can't have a lot of what I refer to as `game slippage.' We had a game plan coming in and we executed it for part of the game, but we need to be consistent with that for 40 minutes. Outside of that we just gave them too many opportunities, either off of our turnovers, which they capitalized on very well, or off of offensive rebounds. We need to make adjustments to stop them in those areas."
On Stanford's size:
"I thought we did a good job of crowding them and inhibiting their moves when they got inside the paint, but obviously their size was a factor as far as offensive rebounding, more so in the first half. We just need to do a better job in our boxing out."
On Stanford's perimeter defense:
"Their perimeter defense I felt was solid, they did a few different things as far as switching, but we didn't make an adjustment on that and capitalize on opportunities when we had them."
Guard Chandice Cronk
On the game:
"Like coach said, we didn't make adjustments when they would switch on defense, and I'm sure we'll probably see that a lot more. We'll have to work a lot more on that."
