FOSTER CITY, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's crew concluded its fall racing schedule at the Head of the Lagoon Regatta in Foster City, Calif on Sunday. The Broncos won three of the four races in which they entered. SCU claimed victories in the women's open four, eight and collegiate pair races, while finishing second in the freshman eight competition.
"Overall, I was very pleased with the crew's performance today," said head coach Stephanie Shepherd. "It was a great way to end the fall racing season."
Also in action at the regatta was the men's pair team of Trevor Gray and Mike Rhoads. The pair finished second in the Men's Open Pair race in a time of 22:31.70.
Santa Clara will begin its spring season on March 5, 2005 at the Sacramento State Dual.
