ORINDA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's rowing competed against Saint Mary's and Seattle on Saturday in the final race before WIRAs.
The Broncos picked up a win in the 2V8 race with a time of 7:22.07, three seconds ahead of second place Saint Mary's.
In the V8 race, Santa Clara finished with a time of 7:04.50, four second behind the Gaels.
Seattle won the V4 race with the Broncos time of 8:56.00, good for third.
Santa Clara return to the water April 28-29 at WIRAs on Lake Natoma in Sacramento.
