SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Heading into the final weekend of the season, Santa Clara women's rowing competes at the West Coast Conference Championships Saturday on Lake Natoma in Sacramento.
"We are really looking to put together three good, extremely committed 2000 meter races that everyone is proud of," Santa Clara head coach Matt Pinschmidt said. "We feel like if we do that, then the results and how we compare to the other schools in the WCC will take care of itself."
The Broncos last time out saw them also on Lake Natoma for WIRAs. They competed with their V8, JV8, V4, and 2 boats with the 2 having the best finish at fifth.
Last year at the conference championships, Leila Chihab and Valerie Bright were named All-WCC. It was the first honor for both.
