LOS ANGELES - Santa Clara University softball teammates Jessica Clee and Jaime Forman-Lau earned weekly honors from the Pacific Coast Softball Conference for outstanding performances in three doubleheaders this past week. Clee, a sophomore outfielder from Milbrae, was named the league's Player of the Week, while Forman-Lau, a senior from San Jose, earned Pitcher of the Week honors.
Clee started all six games this past week in left field, and batted a team-leading .429, after going 9-21 at the plate. She brought in six RBIs and was errorless in the outfield. Clee hit a two-run homerun against San Jose State last Wednesday and was 5-5 in the Broncos' first game against the Spartans. Additionally, she registered an RBI in each of the Broncos' games against Virginia on Sunday, and went 2-3 with a double in the opener against the Cavaliers. She only struck out on one occasion.

The Broncos (7-14) will participate in the NIST this weekend. The tournament is being hosted by San Jose State at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale. Santa Clara will open the weekend with games against ranked opponents Iowa (No. 21) and Washington (No. 7) on Friday, at 5 and 7 p.m., respectively.
