SCU Softball Lands 71 Percent of its Student-Athletes on Academic Honor Roll

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara University softball program saw ten of its 14 eligible student-athletes post a cumulative GPA above 3.0 and earn recognition on the 2011 Pacific Coast Softball Conference (PCSC) Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
Three of the team's four graduating senior's maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and true freshman Krista Jensen, a Psychology major from San Jose's Presentation High School, earned a GPA of 3.84.

"We are extremely proud of the effort our student-athletes put into the classroom," said third-year Santa Clara head softball coach Lisa Mize. "This is a true showing of not only the dedication we have to our sport, but also to our pursuits academically."
