Returning starter... one of Santa Clara's most decorated volleyball players... on tap to make a mark in the Santa Clara record book... has totaled 1,211 career kills, ranks fourth all-time, boasts an all-time best 4.08 kill average in three seasons... has 841 career digs which ranks eighth on the career chart, while the 2.83 digs per game average rank sixth... one of the top talents in the WCC, earning first-team All-WCC honors in 1999... a fierce competitor who brings leadership to the squad... can control a match with her athletic ability... possesses an impressive vertical leap.

AS A JUNIOR IN 1999: A first-team All-WCC... registered a team-high 524 kills in 114 games played... averaged 4.60 kills per game while hitting .239... one of four players who appeared in all 32 matches... led the team in service aces with 39 and was second on the team in digs with 349... averaged 3.06 digs per game and 0.49 blocks per game... combined on 39 block assists while adding 17 block solos... the 17 block solos was a team-high... turned in 24 straight double-figure kill matches and averaged 4.83 kills per game during that time span... also had 18 double-kill, double-dig performances... recorded seventh and eighth 20-kill matches at Loyola Marymount (20) and Pepperdine (26)... named WCC Player of the Week on Nov. 14 after pounding down a school-record 35 kills against 21st-ranked San Diego and 13 against Saint Mary's... also scooped up 24 digs and hit .446 in the match against San Diego... named to the all-tournament team at the GTE Aggie Invitational... had 46 kills and hit .330 during the three Bronco matches... tallied 12 kills against No. 16 Texas A&M and then exploded for 23 and a .476 hitting percentage against Georgia... posted a career-high 26 digs against Cal State Sacramento, bettering the old mark of 24... also charted 25 kills against the Hornets... twice posted four service aces... tied career-best block assist total with four in three different matches.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1998: Ranked second on the team behind Amy Kohl in kills with 318 (3.57)... hit .213 for the season... kill average ranked ninth on the school's single-season Top 10 list...had 17 double-figure kill matches, including three contests of 23 kills or more... had a career-high 24 digs at CS Sacramento on Sept. 22... enjoyed back-to-back 24-kill matches vs. USF (Nov. 13) and San Diego (Nov. 14), one shy of her career high... had 23 kills in Santa Clara's upset win over San Diego on Oct. 16 at Toso Pavilion... also chalked up a .347 hitting percentage during the match... averaged just 2.25 kills a game over her next seven matches (16 games) before closing the regular season on a roll... recorded 82 kills (5.85) and hit .310 in her last four regular season matches... named the WCC's Player of the Week on Nov. 23 for her performance vs. Portland (17 kills; .315) and Gonzaga (17 kills; .536).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1997: Earned honorable mention All-West Coast Conference honors after turning in one of the best first-year campaigns in school history... became the first freshman in school history to lead the team in both kills (369) and kill average (3.92)... kill total of 369 was the school's 10th best single-season mark... her kill average of 3.92 was the second-highest average in school history, trailing only Lia Young's 1991 mark of 4.23... ranked sixth among the WCC leaders in kill average... had 18 double figure kill matches, including seven matches in which she recorded 20 or more kills... led the team in kills in 15 of the 28 matches... pounded down a season-high 25 kills in a four-game loss at San Diego... named to the all-tournament team at the Santa Clara Volleyball Challenge... had 22 kills and a .410 hitting percentage vs. Brown...finished with 22 kills and a .405 hitting percentage vs. UC Irvine... wrapped up the tournament with a 18-kill performance vs. Wyoming... finished the season with a bang, totaling 15 or more kills in each of the last seven matches... had 20 kills at Portland and a career high 25 at Gonzaga.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Redwood High School in Visalia, Calif., where she played for Leslie Sorensen... helped Redwood to back-to-back Yosemite League titles as a junior and senior... Redwood also advanced to the 1996 and `97 CIF Finals... three-time first team All-West Yosemite League selection... West Yosemite League MVP as a senior... all-area first team selection, as well... also named West Yosemite League's MVP in basketball... finished her basketball career with a school record 1,124 points, becoming the first female to reach the 1,000-point plateau... earned her team's MVP award as a junior and senior... named Rangerette of the Year, an award given to Redwood's most accomplished athlete.
