Returning starter... will be a mainstay on the right side... will be looked upon to carry the load offensively... can take over a match with hitting, blocking and serving abilities... can shut down the best leftside hitters with a strong net presence... has continued to improve both offensively and defensively.

AS A JUNIOR IN 1999: Saw limited playing time because of a slight meniscus tear in her left knee, appearing in 16 matches and playing in 37 games... averaged 2.92 kills per game... hit .266 after posting 108 kills on 267 swings with 37 errors... totaled 35 digs, six service aces, 13 block assists and one block solo... pounded down a career-high 27 kills in a win against Cal State Sacramento... also posted a career-high 11 digs against the Hornets and knocked down four blocks... the 27-kill performance equaled the fifth-best offensive performance in school history... hit .429 against Saint Mary's after totaling eight kills on 14 swings with only two errors... had a strong outing at Northern Illinois, registering 11 kills while hitting .500.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1998: Honorable mention All-West Coast Conference selection... saw action in 23 matches and 65 of a possible 105 games... averaged 3.58 kills a game... hit .280 on the year, which was the 10th best single-season mark in school history... was third on the team in blocks with 56 (1 solo; 55 assists)... kill average of 3.58 ranked eighth on the school's single-season Top 10 list... had 12 double-figure kill matches... saw action in just four of the team's first nine matches before establishing a regular presence in the rotation... averaged 3.64 kills a game and hit .293 over her last 19 matches... enjoyed a six match stretch beginning Oct. 6 vs. Pacific in which she established herself as one of the team's most effective hitters... averaged 4.80 kills a game and hit at a .321 clip in those six matches...pounded down a career high 24 kills to go along with five block assists at Saint Mary's on Oct. 10... was named the West Coast Conference's Player of the Week on Oct. 19 for her performances vs. San Diego and USF in which she totaled 36 kills and hit for a .321 percentage for the two matches... finished with 20 kills, six block assists and a career high five aces in SCU's upset of 16th-ranked San Diego... came back one night later to pound down 16 kills in 30 attempts with just one error (.500) vs. USF... recorded 16 kills to go along with career best three block solos vs. UC Santa Barbara in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1997: Developed into one of the team's top net players as the season wore on... finished second on the team in blocks with 73 (9 solo, 64 assists)...64 block assists were a team-high... averaged 2.1 kills and hit .215 for the season... enjoyed seven double figure kill matches... had 10 kills vs. Bowling Green and UC Irvine...turned in her most dominating effort of the season in the win over Oregon... finished with 15 kills to go along with a .325 hitting percentage... also had two block solos and six block assists... made solid contributions in Santa Clara's weekend sweep of Gonzaga and Portland... had 13 kills vs. Gonzaga and finished with 14 kills to go along with .591 hitting percentage vs. Portland.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Righetti High School in Santa Maria, Calif., where she played for Manuel Tajon and Wes Farmer...also lettered in basketball and track and field... four-time Northern League first team selection... All-CIF Southern Section second team pick as a senior... All-Santa Barbara County selection as a junior... captained the team during her last three years on the squad... helped Righetti to the 1995 Northern League championship... excellent student who graduated with a 3.71 grade point average... four-year Dean's List member... CIF member... was listed on Who's Who Among America's High School Students list.
