"Getting two wins this weekend feels great. I think we're playing better, we've won three in a row, we feel better about ourselves and we're excited for this upcoming week and a test in San Diego.
On the team's momentum going into the San Diego match:
"This could help us go down and play in a tough place like San Diego. Our girls know what's on the line in that match and they are excited to go down there and take them on."
Senior outside hitter Kim McGiven:
On the team winning its third in a row:
"These wins are giving us a lot of confidence to win with this lineup. We're starting find our rhythm. It's going to put us in the right place and we're really excited for this match."
On the new lineup coming together over the last few wins:
"The new lineup puts Brittany [Lowe] in a good spot, she has been doing a great job attacking and blocking. Nina [Sevastopoulos] gives us a lot of energy on the court, and she adds a lot to our chemistry and composure out there."
Junior libero Caroline Walters:
On the new lineup playing well together:
"It helps us tremendously to have a group out there that is gelling so well. It is so easy to play defense when you're in a routine and know the front row's tendencies. That's why we've been successful in getting digs behind them."
On next week's showdown with San Diego:
"We're very excited, it's good to have pressure on us in the sense that we have two losses and we know that we really control our own destiny in terms of winning the WCC. We know a win will put us right back up there with the other teams."
