AS A SENIOR (2017) Started all 29 games on the season … scored 11 goals, had three assists, 17 steals, and 20 earned ejections … matched career-high of three steals versus Cal (Feb. 18) ... scored career-high of three goals against Fresno Pacific (March 19).

AS A JUNIOR (2016): Recognized as "Outstanding" on the ACWPC All-Academic team ... also named to the GCC All-Academic team ... played as a reserve in all 26 games … posted nine goals, 12 steals, 12 earned ejections, two assists, and two earned penalty shots on the season ... scored a season-best twice against Villanova (Feb. 27), Cal Lutheran (Feb. 28) and Concordia (April 15) ... had a career-high three steals vs. Cal Baptist (Feb. 27)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Saw time as a reserve in all 30 games … recognized as "Outstanding" on the ACWPC All-Academic team ... named to the GCC All-Academic team ...recorded one goal, one assist, one steal and three earned ejections against Marist … had one goal and one earned ejection against UC Irvine .. earned a career-high four ejections against UC Davis … tallied one goal, one steal and one earned ejection against Cal Lutheran … had one goal, one field block and one earned ejection against Cal State East Bay … recorded one goal and two assists against Chapman … scored two goals and one steal against Occidental ... had one goal and one assist against Cal Baptist … had one goal and one assist in GCC Championship win over Fresno Pacific.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Saw time in seven games… scored one goal vs. Redlands (March 23).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended The Harker School in San Jose, Calif. … four-year varsity starter … team co-captain in 2013 … in her senior year, scored 100 goals, had 23 assists, 62 steals, and drew 77 exclusions … played in the CCS Senior All-Star game … 2012 SCVAL League MVP … 2012 CCS Senior All-Star Team … 2012 First-Team All-CCS … member of the Pacific Zone ODP Regional Team 2011-12 … 2011 Honorable Mention All-CCS … 2010 & 2011 SCVAL All-League First Team honors … 2009 SCVAL All-League Second Team honors … Academic All-American 2011-13 … helped advance her team to the CCS playoffs for the first time in school history … played under Bronco alum Allison Lamb … played for the Stanford Water Polo Club 2009-13 where she helped the team win two Cal Cup State Championships and play in the Junior Olympics (2009-13) as well as the British Columbia Open Invitational (2011-13).

PERSONAL: Born in Mountain View, Calif. … daughter of Marshall and Tracey Clifford … has one brother, Michael … enjoys hiking, traveling and hanging out with friends … aspires to be an elementary school teacher … was given the AP scholar with Distinction Award in 2013 … member of the National Honor Society (NHS) 2010-13 … volunteered her time and services at the KIPP School Tutoring Program (2010-2013) … member of the Hark School Spirit club (2009-13).

“Growing up in the Bay Area, I had often heard of Santa Clara University, but it was not until my sophomore year of high school that I was introduced to the school. It was at this time that my high school water polo coaches, Allie and Amy Lamb, Santa Clara alumni, shared with me their passion for the college and its community. Visiting campus, I fell in love with its beauty and welcoming student body. I was impressed by the small class sizes and the personal relationships the students were fostering with their teachers. It was after this visit that I knew I wanted to become a part of the Santa Clara community.”
