No. 18 Men's Water Polo Travels Down to Fresno Pacific

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After falling in their last two home conference games, the No. 18 men's water polo team hopes to see more success as they travel down to Fresno Pacific for another conference match-up.

The Broncos and the Sunbirds met earlier this season on the Broncos turf in The Rodeo tournament on Oct. 25. The Broncos lead for the majority of the game and came out with the 9-7 win.

The Sunbirds are 1-3 in conference after beating Cal Baptist in sudden-death overtime on Oct. 23. The Broncos are looking to dismantle the Sunbirds 4-0 record in their home pool with a win.

Junior Daniel Seymour and redshirt sophomore David Maes lead the Sunbirds in three offensive categories this season. Seymour has tallied 47 goals, 32 assists and 26 steals; his efforts have earned him two-time WWPA Player of the week (10/8, 10/23).  Maes has recorded 37 goals, 37 assists and 30 steals.

The Broncos are also 1-3 in conference play after dropping two games this past weekend to No. 6 UC San Diego and No. 16 Loyola Marymount.

Mark Davis continues to lead the Broncos with 44 goals. Matt Pritchett has anchored the Broncos defensive efforts and has tallied 223 blocks and 21 steals.

The Broncos will have only have three more home games left, including their final conference match up against UC Davis on Nov. 16 for the Broncos Senior Day.
