SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's water polo released its 2015 schedule today. The season opens Sat., Sept. 5 at San Jose State. The first home game of the year will be Thurs., Sept. 17 vs. Princeton. The WWPA's will be held on the campus of Air Force from Nov. 20-22.

"Our schedule for the upcoming men's water polo season has a lot of great competition," said Santa Clara head coach Keith Wilbur. "We have been invited to the Norcal and Socal tournaments which are both 16 team tournaments with most of the top programs in the country. We are hosting the Rodeo from Oct. 23-25, and that has grown into a great tournament with a lot of fun rivalries. Our conference, the WWPA, continues to be strong, so that will provide a lot of good head to head match ups through the season as well. This schedule is tough and will definitely test our team, but we have a good mix of experience and youth that is looking forward to the challenge."

The Broncos will play at the Princeton Tournament Sept. 12-13, NorCals Sept. 19-20, the Aggie Shootout Sept. 26-27, and SoCals Oct. 10-11. They will also host the annual Rodeo Tournament Oct. 23-25. The annual Alumni Game will be Sat., Oct. 3.

Santa Clara will wrap-up the regular season with four games over the course of eight days. After hosting Fresno Pacific and Air Force, they will travel to Stanford before finishing the year with Senior Day vs. San Jose State at the Sullivan Aquatic Center on Sat., Nov. 14 at 12 p.m.
