SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After improving to 14 wins in 2012-13, Santa Clara women's basketball had a pair of seniors honored by the West Coast Conference on the All-Conference teams. Lindsay Leo was named to the All-WCC Team while Meagan Fulps was Honorable Mention. Fulps was also a member of the WCC All-Academic Team this season.

"It's a great attribute to Lindsay because of her season-ending injury," said Santa Clara head coach Jennifer Mountain. "I'm really proud of the coaches in our conference for recognizing what she's done and she's been one of our best players for the last three years. Meagan has had a great career here and at times has struggled shooting the ball a little bit this season but has done so many things for our program. I'm proud of both of them."

"It's always a good feeling to be recognized but I'm just so happy for Lindsay receiving the All-WCC honor," said Fulps. "It was hard to see her go down when she was having such a great season so seeing her getting recognized was well deserved. I'm so excited for our conference tournament . I'm ready to get after it and lay it all out there because I'm not quite ready to hang up my shoes."

Leo was leading the Broncos in rebounding at 7.1 rpg when she suffered a season-ending knee injury in early February. Leo scored 9.7 ppg on 41.2 percent shooting from the field and led Santa Clara in free throw shooting with an 81.5 percent mark. She also led the team with 43 blocks, 2.2 per game, and placed No. 5 on the single-season blocks list. She finished her career with 113 blocks, good for second all-time at Santa Clara.

Fulps led Santa Clara with 10.9 points per game on 34.0 percent shooting and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. Fulps added 3.1 rebounds per game while dishing out 2.1 assists per game and making 1.4 steals per game.
