SENIOR (2020): One of six 'boat crew' leaders on the team ... hit a team-high seven home runs to finish the season with 37 career home runs to move up to second all-time on the Broncos career home run list ... opening day starter at left field ... played in all 17 games ... started eight games at left, five as the designated hitter and four behind the dish ... batted third in the lineup in all but one game, and hit cleanup in the other ... named Rawlings West Coast Conference Player of the Week on Feb. 17 ... led the team 19 RBIs, 40 total bases and seven hit-by-pitches ... second on the team with a .635 slugging percentage and 16 runs scored ... finished the season with a slashline of .254/.413/.635 and safely reached base in 11 straight games ... set career-highs in hits (three) and RBIs (five) against San Jose State (Feb. 16) ... hit two home runs in a game for the third time in his career against San Jose State (Feb. 16).  

JUNIOR (2019): Played and started in 50 games with 36 starts at first base, 12 at catcher and two as the designated hitter ... belted 16 home runs to pace the Broncos and finish second in the West Coast Conference behind San Francisco's Jonathan Allen who hit 17 ... the 16 home runs tied him for third all-time on the Broncos single season home run list ... the 30 career home runs also puts him tied for third all-time (along with Gene Delyon 1971-74 & Ray Williamson 1983-86) on the Broncos career home run list (behind Kevin Dunton's 38 and Troy Buckley's 35) ... led the team in slugging percentage (.581), runs scored (36), runs batted in (30), total bases (102), hit by pitch (12) and multi-RBI games (eight) ... second on the team in doubles (10), triples (one), sacrifice flies (two), games played (50), games started (50) ... 27 of 42 hits went for extra bases ... threw out 33.3% of attempted base stealers (six out of 18) ... recorded 10 multi-hit games ... successfully reached base in 14 straight games (March 24 - April 18) ... batted third in the lineup in 14 games and cleanup in 28 games ... hit a home run in three consecutive games (Feb. 23 & 24 vs. Washington State and March 1 at CSU Bakersfield) ... had two multi-home run games (vs. Pacific on April 12 and at Saint Mary's on May 12) ... drove in a season-high four runs against Saint Mary's (May 12).  

SOPHOMORE (2018): Started in 45 of 48 games played ... 43 of the starts came behind the dish and two at designated hitter ... had nine multi-hit games ... second on the team with nine multi-RBI games including two 4-RBI games ... primarily batted in the fifth (14 times), sixth (10) and seventh (14) in the lineup ... third on the team in home runs with eight ... second on the team in RBIs with 32 ... fourth on the team in slugging percentage at .434 ... collected the second most extra base hits on the team with  17 (nine doubles and eight home runs) ... recorded 320 putouts and 55 assists in 384 chances for a .977 fielding percentage ... threw out 32.8% of attempted base stealers (22 out of 67).  

FRESHMAN (2017): Played in 42 games for the Broncos with 30 starts as the catcher ... posted a .156 batting average with a .330 slugging percentage ... homered six times on the year with a double and eight runs batted in ... recorded 229 putouts and 38 assists with a .974 fielding percentage ... threw out 13 baserunners attempting to steal a base ... hit a home run in his first collegiate at-bat against then-No. 12 Washington on opening day ... had an RBI double against then-No. 23 San Diego on March 26 as the Broncos won 15-12 ... homered at Portland on April 1 to help the Broncos to a 7-4 win.

PRIOR TO SCU: A graduate of Vintage High School, MacNichols hit .380 with 20 RBIs, 10 doubles and a home run for head coach Rich Anderson and the Crushers as a junior in 2014-15 ... VHS won 14 of its first 15 games en route to a Monticello Empire League championship ... the Crushers made it to the semifinals of the Division I Sac-Joaquin Section tournament ... selected by the Oakland Athletics to play in the Area Code Games ... In 2014, he played with USA Baseball in the National Team Identification Series. NorCalPreps.com tabbed MacNichols as a Top 50 baseball player and the No. 2 catcher in 2015.

PERSONAL: From Napa, Calif. ... involved in athletic leadership and Physical Education classes at elementary schools ... enjoys fishing and golf.
