Men's and women's basketball both ventured away from the Leavey Center for Thanksgiving Break tournaments in Orlando and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, respectively.
Men's basketball capped the 2014 Orlando Classic with a 68-60 victory over Rider after tough losses against Tennessee and Rhode Island. EYEBRONCO reporter David Gentile sat down with Jared Brownridge to recap the team's long road trip and talk about Brownridge's play of the game from the Rider victory. The team faces San Jose State on the road Sat., Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
Women's basketball scored a major upset over LSU, never trailing in a 69-67 victory at the Hardwood Tournament of Hope. Teammates Marie Bertholdt and Beth Carlson joined EYEBRONCO to talk about the victory of the Tigers, the team's energy this season and an upcoming road trip that includes games against Oregon and Stanford. Their next games are Fri., Dec. 5 against UC Davis and Sat., Dec. 6 against Air Force at the Air Force Classic in Colorado Springs, Colo. Both tip at 3:30 pacific.
