SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Santa Clara University Women's Crew team finished its 2000 campaign with a solid showing in the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships held at Lake Natoma outside Sacramento, Calif.
The Varsity Four enjoyed the best outing, capturing the silver medal with a second place finish. Santa Clara clocked in at 8:03.1, placing ahead of four other boats while falling short of champion Willamette.
Santa Clara's varsity eight also recorded a second place finish ith a time of 7:41.7, while the novice eight placed fifth.
