SANTA CLARA, Calif. - For the third consecutive year the Santa Clara University men and women's soccer teams will continue to be on the forefront in college athletics with providing live coverage of a majority of the matches. SantaClaraBroncos.com will carry 22 matches live online through the College Game Pass provided by Real Audio. The Broadcast schedule included 12 women's game and 10 men's games throughout the course of the respective seasons.
Santa Clara's women's soccer team, which has qualified for the NCAA title game in each of the last two seasons, begins its quest for a remarkable 10th appearance in the College Cup on Friday, August 29th with a 7 p.m. kickoff against UCLA. That game will also mark the first live broadcast of the year.
The first men's broadcast will be on Friday, September 12th at 5 p.m. when second year head coach Cameron Rast leads his squad against Holy Cross in the first game of the USF/Diadora Classic held in San Francisco. The Broncos are looking for a return to the NCAA Tournament after a 10-6-1 record in 2002 that left them just short.
Along with more than 45 top colleges and universities, Santa Clara will bring exciting, multimedia content including live audio broadcasts of the best in college football, basketball, baseball, soccer and other sports to college sports fans across the Internet via the subscription-only service called College Sports Pass.
