SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's tennis team defeated Temple 4-3 this afternoon in a consolation semifinal bracket at the San Diego Tennis Classic. The Broncos improve to 5-4 on the season.

The Broncos remain at the Classic and will take on Yale in the consolation final on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The winner will also be declared the Classic's fifth-place finishers.
