SANTA CLARA, Calif.- The Santa Clara University women's tennis team announced today Kelly Lamble, Maggie McGeorge and Alexandra Zaniewski have signed national letters of intent and will join the Broncos women's tennis team as the class of 2013.

Bronco head coach Ben Cabell is very excited about next year's incoming class. "We've got a very good group of players, I'm very happy. All three are impact players and they are all projected to contribute immediately to the line-up."

Alexandra Zaniewski is a native of London, England, and has played in numerous professional tournaments across Europe. Zaniewski is currently ranked No. 39 in Britain.

"Alexandra will provide a level of international and professional experience that our program has not seen before," said Cabell. "We'll be looking forward to incorporating those experiences into our team."

Kelly Lamble is from nearby Saratoga, Calif. and is a 2009 graduate of Saratoga High School. Lamble is currently ranked 76th in the nation and has a top-20 ranking in the state of California.

"Kelly plays hard and will be a great asset to the team. She's ranked in the top 100 in the United States, and we're very excited to have her next year," said Cabell.
