DAVIS, Calif. - Santa Clara's men's water polo team fell to UC Davis 9-8 in dual match action this afternoon.
With the defeat, the Broncos fall to 10-15 on the season.
Three players scored two goals each for the Broncos: senior Jeff Kopacek, sophomore Eric Akerman and junior Jay Moorhead. Seniors Andrew Sikic and Jeff Raegen added one goal each. Senior goalkeeper Matt Petrich posted three blocks in the match.
The Broncos close out the regular season next weekend. On Friday, Nov. 3, Santa Clara will travel to and face LaVerne at noon. The following day, SCU will play matches against Loyola Marymount and Air Force in Los Angeles.
