Women’s Tennis Match Against San Jose State Suspended Due to Rain on Saturday
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis match against San José State on Saturday was suspended due to rain with the Broncos up, 1-0.  
 
Play will resume on Sunday at 2 p.m.  
  
The Broncos earned the doubles point when Caitlyn Frankel and Katya Tabachnik beat Miyo Kobayashi and Alb Pedrero Galindo, 6-1, on court two, followed by the clincher by Maddie Pothoff and Elvena Gevargiz over Savannah Sendar and Laura Malsert, 6-4, on court one.  
 
An hour and a half into the match, the rain began to fall and play was suspended with the Broncos up by a set in three of the matches on courts one, two, and three and down a set on courts four, five and six.  
 
On court one, Pothoff led Tamara Culibrk, 6-1, 5-1.  
 
On court two, Gevargiz led Pedrero Galindo, 6-2, 4-3. 
 
On court three, Tabachnik led Kobayashi, 6-3, 0-1.  
 
On court four, Sendar led Frankel, 6-1, 5-3
 
On court five, Malsert led Lindsey Pesqueira, 6-1, 5-1
 
On court six, Klara Milojkovic led Nadine Del Carmen, 6-1, 4-1.
