Joining the seven Bronco volleyball players honored on the court Tuesday, four more Broncos were honored on the 2014 West Coast Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team on Wednesday.  GiGi Cresto was named to the First Team and Madison Dutra, Katy Schatzman and Mary Shepherd were named Honorable Mention.

Cresto carries a 3.72 grade point average (GPA) in Finance and Political Science as a sophomore.

Dutra, majoring in Finance, carries at 3.50 GPA as a sophomore.  Senior Katy Schatzman has a 3.54 GPA as a Finance major and sophomore Mary Shepherd has a 3.44 GPA as a Communications major.

 This season, 19 nominated WCC volleyball student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.50 or better while eight recorded a mark of 3.75 or higher.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport.  To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
