Celine Estrada (she/they) joined Santa Clara University in August 2020 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the men's and women's rowing teams. They are currently in their second year with SCU. Prior to Santa Clara, she served as the primary athletic trainer for the women's volleyball and beach volleyball programs at California State University, Northridge, from 2018 to 2020. Celine graduated from CSUN with an M.S. in Kinesiology, emphasis in Sport Studies.
Estrada graduated from San Jose State University in 2018 with a B.S. in Athletic Training and a minor in Nutrition & Food Science. Her undergraduate clinical experience includes working with San Jose State Athletics, Bellarmine College Preparatory, Foothill College, and more. They also enjoy advocating for the athletic training profession at the district level as a current committee member for the Far West Athletic Trainers' Association (FWATA) Early Professionals Committee.
Estrada is a Los Angeles native and currently resides in San Jose with her partner, David, and their fur baby, Luna. In their spare time, Estrada enjoys PC gaming/eSports, planning content for SCU Sports Medicine social media, and discovering the latest Trader Joe's trendy item.
