AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR IN 2008: Started nine games in 12 appearances for the Broncos, tossing 44.0 innings and striking 33 batters ... pitched 5.2 innings against Kansas State (Feb. 23), striking out five batters ... pitched a career-high 7.0 innings against San Jose State (Mar. 2) for the win, striking out five batters and allowing only three hits and one run ... made his fifth appearance and threw 5.1 innings, striking out two against then-No. 14 San Diego (Mar. 30) ... struck out a season-high six batters against Sac State (Apr. 29)  

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Started all 11 games in which he appeared as a pitcher, and made pinch-hitting appearances in five other contests ... posted a 4-2 record and 4.12 earned-run average with 32 strikeouts in 54.2 innings of work ... went 0-for-4 with a walk at the plate ... after opening year with a pair of no-decisions, ran off three straight wins ... struck out seven and allowed only one run on three hits over five innings in win over Fresno State on Feb. 28 ... allowed only three runs and struck out a pair in win at Stanford on March 6 ... got third win Apr. 1 at Portland, allowing only two earned runs over five innings ... despite suffering loss at No. 12 Pepperdine on Apr. 22, made a strong showing with five strikeouts and only two runs allowed in 6.1 innings ... struck out six and allowed only one run on five hits over 6.2 innings as he got his fourth win Apr. 29 over Loyola Marymount ... took a no-decision at Saint Mary's on May 6 despite allowing only one run through six innings.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2006: Returned from Tommy John surgery in 2005 to appear in 25 games, starting 18 ... eight of those starts came on the mound while the other 10 were at designated hitter ... went 3-1 with a 3.42 ERA on the hill with 12 strikeouts in 23.2 innings pitched ... from the plate, batted .300 with four homers and eight RBIs ... got pinch-single in his first at-bat of the season on Feb. 4 at Pacific ... returned to the mound March 8 at Sacramento State, tossing four innings of two-hit, shutout ball to earn his first victory of the year ... earned his second win in three innings of work against Cal on April 5 ... tossed three innings of three-hit, one-run ball and struck out three against San Francisco State on April 18 to earn his third win ... also went 3-for-5 from the plate with a home run and three RBIs against the Gators ... struck out three and allowed only one run in a three-inning stint at Stanford on April 25 ... went 2-for-2 with a home run and a couple of walks against Saint Mary's on April 29 ... singled and hit a solo homer in five at-bats on May 6 at San Diego ... tossed three scoreless innings the following day against the Toreros ... had two hits, including his fourth homer of the season, on May 12 against the Portland Pilots.
