2020 Schedule
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's rowing has announced its 2020 schedule, featuring six races.
The season begins Feb. 29-March 1 at the UC Challenge Invitational in Newport Beach, Calif. And is followed by races at Cal (March 21) and at Gonzaga (April 4).
The championship leg of the season starts with WIRA's April 25-26 on Lake Natoma and also features Western Sprints in the same location May 16.
IRA National Championships will be in Mercer, N.J. May 29-31. The Broncos Varsity 8 boat is looking to qualify for IRA's for the fifth time in the last six years.
Santa Clara lost three of its All-WIRA rowers from last season to graduation but welcome back senior Nicholas Szigeti who was named to the second team.
