SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University's annual Day of Giving is set for Wednesday with a lofty goal.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of Bronco Nation, Santa Clara Athletics combined to raise $483,000 from 1,955 gifts during that 24-hour period.
This year's goal has been set at $650,000.

"The support Bronco Nation has shown our student-athletes and coaches year after year on the Day of Giving is extraordinary," director of athletics Renee Baumgartner said. "Whether you give to the Athletic Excellence Fund, Bronco Bench Foundation or to any one of our 20 programs, your gift has a direct and immediate impact on our student-athletes' success on and off the field."
